Anticancer:  A New Way of Life Book Offer

To receive a free, autographed copy of the book, Anticancer:  A New Way of Life by David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD (the "Book") please follow the instructions below.  Beginning January 1, 2010, you may visit www.stonyfield.com and click on the lid graphic to complete the entry form and receive a Book (the "Offer").  The first 200 eligible entries received during each Offer Period will receive a Book.  Once 200 eligible entrants have completed the entry form during Offer Period 1, the web page will indicate that there are no more Books available during that Offer Period.  If you were not one of the 200 eligible entrants, you can try again during the next Offer Period.  There will be a total of five (5) Offer Periods per the following schedule:

If there are not 200 Books given away during any one Offer Period, the leftovers will be added to the following Offer Period.  If there are leftovers after Offer Period 5, the website will continue to accept entries until all Books have been given away. 

Due to the limited supply of Books, only one Book will be given per household. 

Shipping and Handling are included in the Offer, and Book recipients will receive their Books within 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of the Offer.  Ineligible entries will not be acknowledged or returned.

  • Offer available only while supplies last.   Offer Periods scheduled per the table above.
  • Shipping and handling ("S&H") charges are included in the Offer. 
  • Subject to the Book’s availability and successful completion of the entry form, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.  Deliveries will be made to the address provided in the entry form. Stonyfield and Contributor are not responsible for lost, misdirected or stolen mail.  All online entries must be received within the Offer Period. If there is a dispute over the identity of an online participant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the Authorized Account Holder regardless of the individual that submitted the entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
  • Sponsor shall have the absolute right to determine if an entry is in compliance with these Official Rules without notice to the person attempting to enter.
  • Information Contained in Entry.  By submitting an entry, each Offer participant warrants and represents to Sponsor that the information contained in the entry is true and correct in all material respects and that Sponsor may rely on such information in its efforts to comply with applicable laws and regulations.  Offer entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  By submitting an entry, you acknowledge and agree that, if you receive a Book, Stonyfield may post your first and last name and home town at www.stonyfield.com.

  • Stonyfield has the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the operation of the Offer or any Website, or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third party or like methods to participate in the Offer will void any attempted participation effected by such methods and result in disqualification of participant utilizing same.  If, for any reason, the Offer (in whole or in part) in the sole opinion of Stonyfield is not capable of running as planned by reason of, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which Stonyfield, in its sole opinion deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer, Stonyfield may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer and/or proceed with the Offer in a manner deemed by it,  in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with the spirit of these Terms and Conditions.  Notice of such action by Stonyfield will be posted at Offer Website.  Stonyfield is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Offer, administration of the Offer or in the announcement of the Offer prizes.
  • Participants release Stonyfield, Contributor, advertising and promotional agencies, and any and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, and licensees (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, fees, losses or damages of any of nature resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of or in connection with participant’s participation in the Offer, use or misuse of the Offer, including, without limitation, any claims based on infringement of intellectual and/or proprietary rights, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
  • By receipt of any Book, the participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, fees, losses or damages of any of nature, including, without limitation, loss or damage to property and/or injury to persons, including death, or expense (including court costs and attorneys’ fees) that they may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with participant’s participation in the Offer and/or acceptance, use or misuse of the Book.
  • Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall THE RELEASED PARTIES be liable for any direct, incidental, indirect, special, consequential,  exemplary or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or harm to business or reputation, arising out of entrant’s participation in the OFFER, posting on or access and/or download of any materials or information from any web site owned, operated or controlled by ANY RELEASED PARTY, or acceptance, use or misuse of a prize, including without limitation loss or damage to property and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, damages for bodily or personal injury, even if THE RELEASED PARTIES HAVE been advised of the possibility of such loss or damages. Entrant agrees that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of THE RELEASED PARTIES arising out of any kind of claim (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed $1.00.
  • Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or undeliverable e-mail, registrations, or entry forms,  or for any computer, programming, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability, or garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/Website/use net accessibility, availability, or traffic congestion, or any technical error, or unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with New Hampshire law without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions to the extent that the application of the laws of another jurisdiction would be required thereby.  Participants agree that the state and federal courts located in New Hampshire shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions, this Offer or participant’s participation in this Offer, and participants consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue thereof.
