The Chefs Collaborative Restaurant Guide
Through our partnership with Chefs
Collaborative, a network of more than 1,000 members of the food community
who promote sustainable cuisine, we’ve created a handy fold-out
wallet guide to help you locate more than 160 member restaurants throughout
the U.S. These restaurants partner with local farmers, producers, and
fishermen; finding the best artisanal products; and respecting local economies,
traditions and habitats. They understand that the source of their ingredients--the
way they have been grown, raised, or caught--significantly affects the
flavor and quality of their dishes, and has a direct impact on our environment.
By sourcing local and organic foods whenever possible, purchasing all-natural
meat that is free from antibiotics and growth hormones, and selecting
seafood that is not threatened by over-fishing, chefs are helping to support
a sustainable food supply. And when you enjoy a delicious meal from one
of these member restaurants, you’re helping too, and voting for
a healthy future for us all.
